Minna participated in the annual Open Studio tours the weekend of October 11 and 12. She received many guests who were introduced to her work on one-on-one basis, touring her work stations for bookbinding, collage and jewelry. They were able to purchase one of a kind works while enojying snacks and wine.
During its ninth annual city-wide event, more than 290 professional visual artists in 16 neighborhoods of Philadelphia opened their studios to the public to show and sell artwork.
The web site www.philaopenstudios.org and the POST Artist Directory, available for free beginning in September, are your guides to POST 2008 and to Philadelphia’s arts community year-round. POST is a program of The Center for Emerging Visual Artists, a nonprofit career development organization that creates opportunities for artists to reach their professional goals.

Minna’s classic “Clay Book” is a keepsake for year’s to come. Constructed of yarn, rice paper, and paint, the covers seem to be made of clay. The binding is a sturdy coptic binding and the pages fall flat, for better writing surface.
