Minna’s classic “Clay Book” is a keepsake for year’s to come. Constructed of yarn, rice paper, and paint, the covers seem to be made of clay. The binding is a sturdy coptic binding and the pages fall flat, for better writing surface.

Minna will be showing her latest work at the Kimmel Center’s Summer Solstice Celebration. The Kimmel is at the corner of Spruce and Broad Streets in Philadelphia. The show will be from 2pm to 7pm, and the Kimmel will have plenty going on till 3am! Here is a link to the event:

The 2008 Trenton Avenue Arts Festival will occur on May 17, 2008 from 12 noon to 5 PM. The 2008 Arts Fest promises to deliver more good times this year than ever before, see you there. (This is a sprinkle or shine event, severe weather date is planned for Sunday, May 18th, 12pm –5pm.)
This year’s festival will feature the 2nd Annual Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby (KKSD) a design competition and parade of human powered vehicle sculptures. I have recently enjoyed working with tyvek, an indestructible material from Dupont. It is strong yet pliable, and paintable. This hand painted photo accordion is beautiful and convenient.
